NO. Your creditors have every right to try and contact you in order to collect debt which you owe them. However, historically we have been successful in eliminating most harassing telephone calls from creditors. If your account is in collections, however, collections agencies are obligated to adhere to FDCPA Guidelines. By law, agency representatives must communicate with you in a certain way that is not threatening or overly invasive.
